Like many fabric artists, I have an extensive scrap collection ideal for piecework. Here is a selection of hand-pieced projects made from scrap cotton, denim, twill, and upholstery fabrics.
The designs were intuitively developed based on the shapes and quantities of the scraps available. I usually start by sorting scraps and then asking myself what I could do with them. This results in quite a few pillows and cushion covers, but there are also bags and pouches and even dolls!
