First you need a flower,
so you’ll need to find a garden.
You should ask the bees
for recommendations.
When you get to the garden,
it’s always good to ask first
before drawing someone in public—
although flowers rarely mind.
Look for the big shapes first
and then the curvy edges.
Remember that it’s ok if it isn’t exact—
this is your flower.
Place this creation somewhere special
so in deep winters you will remember
the bees who recommended the garden
and the flower who said you could draw her
and that you were happy.
